AT THE VENUE
PARKING: At most of our venues in Cellardyke, Crail, Kilrenny and Bowhouse our team of parking stewards will be on hand to direct and assist. They have been doing this for a good few years and know the locations well so please follow their directions: we thank you for your patience and cooperation.
The main exceptions are Anstruther and Elie which both have has plenty of options available: on street, and multiple public car parks.
When parking on the streets in any of the villages please be sensitive to residents’ access and any road priority such as bus stops. Nothing brings a concert to a grinding halt more effectively than us having interrupt with an announcement asking a driver to move their vehicle.
None of our venues has Blue Badge parking adjacent but you can drop off very close to all of them. Our stewards will be happy to help and advise – they are easily spottable in their bright blue festival shirts.
ACCESS: ENF Venues open 30 minutes before the event starts. This is to allow musicians, piano tuners, production and stewarding staff the time they need to ensure your event is as good as we can make it. In the case of a delay, we apologise unreservedly: we would never allow this unless it were unavoidable.
LATE-COMERS: We will only admit late-comers during a pause in the music and may ask that late-comers sit in the most accessible seat available rather than disturbing other people.
SEATS: Seating varies from venue to venue but most of our churches have pews to sit in. These can be quite hard so please feel free to bring a cushion.
WEATHER: Most venues have no front of house area so please do not arrive too early – especially in poor weather, when there will be no shelter. 30 minutes is more than enough to find parking, visit the facilities, get seated and settle in.
DOGS: We admit only assistance dogs to ENF events and ask that you alert us when you book so we can be sure to reserve a spot where you and your dog will be comfortable.
MEDICAL ASSISTANCE: Most ENF events are attended by first aiders who are on hand to assist should you become unwell.
GENERAL: Facilities vary from venue to venue – details are on the website – but at minimum we guarantee that everyone will be able to access all venues; there will be accessible toilets; our stewards will be happy to help.
