Margret Koell plays the entire range of historical harps and opens the doors on a sensuous baroque landscape that sparkles and enchants.
Both as a soloist and as a continuo player, Margret Koell works with leading baroque orchestras, e.g. Il Giardino Armonico, Accademia Bizantina, Europa Galante, B’ Rock, Concerto Köln, Akamus and the Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble. Her solo recitals, duos and trios are brilliant examples of technical perfection and passion for the music. One of the highlights of her 2017 calendar was the inauguration concert of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, where she performed as a duo with countertenor Philippe Jaroussky.
