Welcome to the sixth East Neuk Festival! East Neuk Festival 2010 is the most ambitious yet, a year for big works and wide-range choices: in these pages you will find one masterpiece for 40 solo voices and another for 23 solo strings. It is also a year for great journeys: one circles the Mediterranean with Renaud Garcia Fons; another invites you to travel back in time to when The Holiday Line brought visitors to the East Neuk each summer. It is only possible for ENF to continue to programme imaginatively and ambitiously because of the generosity and commitment of our many patrons and supporters: I thank you warmly. As ever, this Festival is the work of many hands: they know who they are, and how grateful I am to them for their hard work, spirit, generosity and enthusiasm. I am also delighted, that BBC Radio 3 will be our broadcast partner for the 2010 festival.
